OBERDORFER 300B-F21 Self Priming Centrifugal Pump
This self-priming, bronze, close-coupled style centrifugal pump is equipped with high-quality ball bearings permanently filled with grease for maintenance-free operation. The main shaft seal is a proven reliable mechanical face seal. Unlike positive displacement pumps, centrifugal pumps have larger internal spaces since pressure is generated by centrifugal force and high velocity of the liquid. These pumps can handle impurities in the liquid and the flow in the discharge line can be throttled or shut off without the need for a relief valve

Maximum lift without foot valve is 10 ft (3 m).
Bronze pumps are suitable for most common liquids in the pH range 4 to 11. If in doubt, consult the factory or refer to the Oberdorfer™ Chemical Resistance Guide booklet. The temperature limit for bronze pumps is 212°F (100°C). Higher temperatures are possible with fluoroelastomer or polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) seals. Centrifugal pumps are not suitable for pumping viscous liquids. Viscosities up to 2000 SSu can be handled, reducing performance and efficiency.
The pump seal is a mechanical carbon face type mated to a ceramic wear face for maximum durability. Other seal components are made of nitrile with low swelling characteristics for compatibility with a wide range of fluids, including many chemicals and solvents.
